In this course, we will closely examine Ohm's Law, Series Circuits, and Parallel Circuits. Ohm’s Law, the first, and perhaps most important, relationship between current, voltage, and impedance, will be explained in detail, as well as its relevance to series and parallel circuits. This will subsequently lead to the development of Kirchhoff's Laws, as they help to further analyze network analysis & metering circuits. We will also cover conductors and insulators, along with their connected components, capacitors, inductors, and how they are influenced by electromagnetism.
This course will be beneficial for anyone who wants to understand the basic concepts of electricity, its laws, theorems, and DC circuit analysis as it applied to resistors, capacitors, and inductors.
This course is intended for Engineers, Technologist, Technicians, Students wishing to learn and understand or just review DC Circuit Analysis.
Basic Fundamentals of Electricity and DC Circuit Analysis
The rules vary between states, but state boards typically accept a continuing education activity that meets the following criteria: “A course or activity whose purpose and objective are clear with a content that will maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge of the licensee’s field of practice.”
Online courses are accepted by all states that require engineering continuing education provided that the student passes a quiz to successfully complete the course, the quiz is graded, and the results are kept on file by the platform provider for a prescribed length of time (the number of years varies for each state).
Automatic certificate of completion can be generated after completing the course.
You will be able to immediately print a certificate of completion after passing a multiple-choice quiz
